It just makes me wonder why there is so much puritism with games now a days

you cant have new but people want new

and you cant have old but people want old

I think it's kinda a conflicting of ideas where one set of people might actually want change in the series and the ohter never wants it to change, and everything in-between or beyond that

Now of course I know this isn't anything new with gaming, but rather more easily seen with social media

And the majority of people who play pokemon, it's true.. they play it just to play it.. most people only get like 10

I have never understood why ppl like Pokemon. Almost every aspect in these games is dissatisfying imo. With the combat being the worst part. turn based combat that doesn't require strategy in the normal game

i mean the competitve part is alright except that 95% of all pokemon are useless in competitive

i think the game would be more fun to me if it had a hardmode

It's kinda hard to make every pokemon useful, is the thing

when you are hitting 1000+

that's why they will remove a lot of them in sword and shield

There was a time where they could all fill a niche, but that time is kinda past, because now pokemon all overlap in niches

Who wants to actually balance and animation 1000+ critters?

the problem is if you have to create animations etc for all 1000+ pokemon the game gets more and more expensive for the consumer, bc you have to pay all the animators, artists etc

and i think ppl don't want to pay 80-100$ for a pokemon game

ugh.. and this whole thing has been misinformation after misinformation too
