One of the interesting parts of learning languages and having friends that are fluent in them is learning the profanit.

In my case, since I'm half European, that parent tried teaching us their language but we never caught on.

We also have a family friend from Europe, she speaks her language to her kids and they understand it but can't speak it.

Over here we tend to have a yellow plate one back, and a white one on front, do you guys (those of you who are smart enough to put it on both sides) do this also?

Like it's fine if you can't read or write
Just have a good reason to speak it and you'll be able to learn it really quick

Because I tried really hard to study japanese and I barely could communicate in it. And I mean I learnt all 10 chapters of words and phrases that were written at the end of each one off by heart

I can learn languages pretty quickly if I wanted to. I taught myself Korean, although I stopped a year ago but can still read the characters

If you understand the basics of a language youll probably get it more. And if you can understand Japanese and english than you have a better chance at learning a third of fourth since they are on the opposite ends of the spectrum
