It's interesting how Portuguese and Japanese are mostly identical in the phonetical level

Yeah jp rs are a cross between l and r.

Learning a Language by yourself > Learning it in a class

Or learning from games and shows

It's kinda silly how they don't have l sounds but they pronounce rs like ls sometimes

The also don't have v sounds

It sticks more imo. In class I was just more worried about passing and never used it outside of class

Well, technically they do, they just don't use it

That's what I meant by shows.

Japanese has almost every phonem in the world and they don't use a lot of them

Hah, I learned most of my English from watching anime dubs hahaha

They have "zi" but always pronounce it as "ji"

wouldnt try to learn japanese from an anime though. Lots of informal usage going on there.

I learned most of my English from YouTube videos

I seriously learned more English from the internet than I ever did in class

I remember watching a lot of the Top 10 people

Only thing I learned in class was to keep the i as I when it's alone

It's like you know the words, but watching the media and playing helps to fortify the use and teach more complex vocabulary.

Cause Grammar Nazis are all over the internet laughsinnomura

MasterJakeStudios, Autarch of Flame, Rabbidluigi, uh... Joshscorcher

Punctuation use takes a bit more research.
