Honestly? I’m surprised they didn’t do more of tha..

And I like some of the spy stuff

But you see, I think that movie happens to have some objective problems, such as the main villain's plot making no sense whatsoever

Ye the spy stuff was kinda cool but I dunno, it didn’t feel.. as good as the first, where it kinda went from being about racing and that being the best isn’t all that matters(again this is just an internal opinion and thought)

Thoooogh.. you can argue that Mater being who they are and being able to do this, means it carries the message that anyone can be great, even an everyday person

Well, I have no opinion on that as I've (sadly) not played it

Most of the people who disliked it have moved out outside of some stricklers

(Which, by the way, keep calling everyone stupid for liking it...)

But if people did not like the plot.. that’s fine

But from the let's plays I've seen of the beginning of the game, the linearity seems to be somewhat offputting

Though that's not related to plot

The directing was weird for FFXIII for sure

Weeeeell.. you can argue that the linearity is for plot, actually

They argued that.. the linearity is a reflection of how trapped the characters feel

Well, maybe, but it's not like you couldn't have similar scenes in more open spaces

Well, you see, that's interesting, but it's subjective and there is really nothing in the game that supports it

Basically using the design of the game to tell the story which.. a lot of people do, admittedly, though rather there is a right or wrong way to argue if this is 100% true...

The game literally starts off with Lightning and the others caught up in a civil war of sorts where the residents of Cocoon are terrified of the “world below”

And so, they went all the indigenous people of said world gone

I mean it has Xenophobia because of the whole Fal'cie orchestration but I wouldnt say the game is about it.
