Ff14 has so many little details. For example, if you've already met an NPC's in a sidequest who comes into the main story later, they will recognize you and ask how you're doing

yeah I mean with world building all the old god stuff and voidlord things. not in general the horde vs alliance plotline which they want to tell in bfa

Like, I still remember this whole questline during Heavensward that was about saving chocobos and learning about the forest

You remember that, right?

thhat there's a balance to be maintainted and there was even a whole thing about being grateful and not taking more than you need from the forest

Or for example there is this one sidequest in la nosceia where you can lather up godbert from the hildibrand sidquests.
