The funny thing is that I joined a group that planned a game that was themed on worlds based on those seven deadly sins, but it didn't progress in planning and got scrapped.

Are you wearing it rn?

I also wanna make it cause I find that some JRPGs don't really focus on the emotions in their stories anymore due to extra attention for pacing and good characters and motives

Player investment into the story can come from how they feel emotions

Even if a plot is lackluster, if the journey is felt and they felt even a single emotion at all they don't normally feel
My job would be complete

Or RPGs that are not so J.

Well I'd argue that JRPGs still do it the best

But I also don't know of many WRPGs and their plots so I could easily be wrong

Well, it would be a WRPG that does then.

no,you're right,unfortunately,goldy

too many JRPGS are about their pacing and characters

Lol I'm no expert I know

But if there's anything I've noticed in my 19 years of playing JRPGs

It's the way the stories have changed since 2001

a lot faster now compared to than? ?

At least that's what i noticed

I.E. people don't appreciate a slow burn plot as much

Yep! Which makes 10000% sense

Huamnity as a whole has a slower attention span than people back then
