We already know they are adding more new stuff into the story, so it shouldn't be a huge surprise that they incorporate the other games into the remake too

Its not really dumb. The characters already exist in the lore and we dont know how they are going to change up the story. Its too early to say that anything from crisis core making its way into the story would ruin it.
