Luffy is almost done with Katakuri

Dressrosa was the longest arc but I swear that WCI feels like the longest one

It's pretty great though

WCI is my favorite arc

I love it so much

It's got hype moments, sad moments, wholesome moments, and some of the funniest scenes I've seen in the whole show.

The scene with Katakuri eating his Donuts was so hysterical that I was in stitches

I also really like Carrot

Which is interesting considering I often find happy go lucky characters like her draining

Pudding is also really funny, though her whole shtick got annoying kinda quickly

But what can I do, the waifu is laifu

I also find it funny when the female characters are the ones getting the nosebleeds

The Luffy and Sanji stuff brought me to tears

So I think that was the 5th time the series made me cry

Many a ? was dropped

Though I gotta say the Pudding turnaround was a bit too sudden

 

She went from a bonafide sociopath to a conflicted lust-crazed lover in 5 minutes

 

Like, let her have an internal monologue at least

Yeah, I don't have a problem with it per say, I just wish they dedicated more time to her turnaround

Which is why it's SO WHOLESOME

Like, it's not like I want them to end up together because that would be cliché, but they are just so cute together

It's like the "Defrosting the Ice Queen" trope, except it's "defrosting the arctic sociopath"

Overall I've loved this arc a whole lot, even when it drags at least it's the cool action that drags and not the wait for something cool to happen that does.

Now I'm hyped for Wano, I can't wait to see all the Straw Hats reunited at once after the 3 arc long separation period

I have also been downloading the soundtracks of the films because that stuff's hype, and I've noticed that those osts are nearly unfindable to download

I basically had to download all the songs individually with good old YouTube MP3 and then edit their tags on MP3Tag

I spent 5 hours this morning just doing that and I only got to movie 8

Also I don't think I've reached that hype moment, Mup.

Davy Back Fight is the biggest filler that is not a filler of One Piece

But agreed. Most parts are good.

I just imagine how much of a whiplash it must've been to end the Davy Back Fight and all of a sudden having Aokiji show up and being like, "heyo, I am just chilling here".

But yeah, all of One Piece is pretty great to me.
