It upsets me because the cast and premise are interesting, but they don't do anything with it

Dmc5's story was very much DMC

Misplaced expectations here

Hoenstly the characters are what make DMC when it comes to its sotry

My only problem with dmc 5's story was that some scenes felt unnecessary. :linkusThink:

you could not understand any of it

the funny scenes were all good

but the characters just make it work

but there were also scenes that were very weird

 

like Nero talking for the 10k time that he lost his arm or those unnecessary "V is Vergil" teasers even though you already knew from the start that V is vergil, due to hints in V's body language

 

Yeah Nero's whole thing with the arm was a bit....is this really all you are angry about?

astral chain has btw also some camera problems

which is funny bc dmc 5 and kh3 have problems as well

for some reason action games nowadays don't have a good camera

I can't remember having camera problems in 2fm or in dmc 3 for example

Think Kh3's camera was too close?

yeah it also freaked out during fights with a high mob density

And that zoom in effect from 0.2 was rather annoying

it works for trailers when he is just standing still

so far this year not a single action game has been a disappointment for me
