I've caught up with the anime, not the manga.

I'm reading 938 right now.

Phoenix doesn't do franchises, this is just a one and done movie for him

good on them for imrpoving the art style

at the start of the new world though, things were definitley not that great

One of my biggest complaints about Dressrosa was how lifeless the art style looked. WCI improved on that front, but Wano just looks beeeeeeeeautiful.

It looks so warm and bright compared to how grey and cold Dressrosa looked.

They're also actually bothering to give visual indications to when Observation Haki is used.

It's very cool.

Point is, Wano's art style is not boring to look at.

Especially when compared to Dressrosa's.

They're going all out with Wano, even changing the fonts and making new eyecatchers

Well, it makes more sense to make new eyecatchers for Wano because different culture with different style of music + everyone being there.

Differently from WCI where half of the crew was absent.
