||there's a device in scala ad caelum that shows an image of daybreak town, which then gets destroyed leaving the word "break" along with the ruins of the town, which then becomes scala ad caelum. this confirms that scala was created after the destruction of daybreak town, something we all figured after seeing what looks like the daybreak town clock tower underwater in scala
now, we know that the world was swallowed in darkness but was saved by the light of children, or something along those lines. and it seems like scala was also destroyed at some point, or it's impossible to get to. it's entirely possible, then, that scala was split apart, and various original worlds came from that
the machine is in daybreak town, which becomes scala, and then scala splits apart, potentially creating radiant garden in the process, which is how the machine inevitably ended up at hollow bastion in kh1
(y'all did mention that it's in end of the world, not hollow bastion. to that, i'd like to point out that end of the world is an amalgamation of worlds that had fallen to darkness, or something along those lines. this means that the machine could have been "absorbed" by the amalgamated world at some point. we know, after all, that apprentice xehanort was conducting darkness experiments in radiant garden/hollow bastion, so it's not much of a jump)||
