I just want the keyblades from proud mode, and get them to their 3rd form. The rest is gem

I just do the one that gets me the dark power or sun gem which is usually just beating all the enemies in one turn

Beating Chocolate Monster LV 3800 with the goals of Complete Within 3 Turns, Equip 3 or Fewer Medals, Complete Without Having To Continue and the condition is Only Special Attacks Requiring 3 or More Gauges Allowed.

I’m just getting all of the proud mode keyblades and their upgrades, im not even trying for 100 percent

you need to do some objectives to get ingredient to upgrade the proud keyblades

And complete those objectives

they aren't linked like the gem ones so it's easier to do

They're VIP items. Even w/o the description, a good way to identify them as such is by spotting the crown icon in the banner imager.

@ScaredSoraKensaCult i wouldn't recommend getting vip just for aerith. like, she's good, but she's not nearly that good at this point

She's hardly worth VIPing alone for the price, though.

well, lemme say something different then: don't focus completely on upgrading a single keyblade once you have to start using gems. instead, you should focus on specific ones, spreading your gems out and slowly upgrading them over time. (especially since fully upgrading a keyblade takes hundreds of gems)

If you find other reasons like the Quests, which aren't much better this coming week, or for use in DR, to each his own.

500jewels traits this week i think in vip

this week, the real appeal is 500-jewel traits. aerith isn't a bad extra, but there are better deals

Once I got much of them (that I could) to +35, I was able to focus on individual keyblades.

When we were still awaiting BGB level unlocks, I would go for setting ten aside when we were close to Story updates.

i specifically waited until we could fully upgrade bgb before working on other keyblades. of course, i ran out of speed gems and had to wait a couple weeks, but it's still my first only +50 blade

(although i had been upgrading other keyblades. it was like, once jp got bgb to +50, that's when i started saving)
