you need 2 def boost vi max to place high in pvp, I'm sure def boost v max works too now that 90% of the damage pierces it anyway

Well, some medals released after they started that like iZexion and SN++ - Xemnas weren't KH3 medals, so it had to be set generally to include medals like that.
