i have been replaying KH3 and I totally forgot about that scene in sanfransokyo where sora is eating ice cream with all of them and has a memory of roxas having ice cream with the twilight town kids

that hit me like a ton of bricks

They first show up in KH1 during the World of Chaos fight lol

Annoying buggers who charge at you while you're flying around, but drop some good HP orbs

The track I'm reffering to is now Treasured Memories but the one that starts at 1:00

The one that gives a horror like vibe

I haven't seen anyone ask or mention this track anywhere yet it plays on both the DS and HD Version of this exact cutscene and doesn't seem to appear in the soundtrack.

as far as l recaII, he actuaIIy pIays without a HUD in these scenes and edits the bars manuaIIy accurateIy

as for the drive gauge, he does use modified drive forms so

with some exceptions but 99% of the time they are ingame

I will say, I'm glad to see Days getting the respect it deserves. It's a...very experimental KH title but I quite enjoyed it.

its easy to tell when he takes damage
ingame, hp lost is shown in dark red. then it fades to black smoothly

the few times where he uses his own UI, the effect is not that smooth

and we can see he used a different red

the mp is aIso sIightIy transparent

who knows
maybe its been liek that this whole time and we never had bright enough places to see it
