For me, this is what KH3’s Organization should’ve been

Demyx was part of the Organization. He was the alternative in case someone like Xion wasn't going to be available

Yes, I replaced Xion with Demyx. Yet I actually have an idea on how else she would’ve returned. Same way of using Vexen’s records, but as an extra and was meant to be the 13th vessel, but then she’ll battle against Kairi into a Dive to the Heart (a similar fight with Sora and Roxas in KH2FM), and she goes back to being good when she starts to gain a little bit of her memories with Roxas and Axel. And when both her and Kairi go back to the real world, she cries onto Kairi’s arms

True, but I still think he fits and shouldn’t be replaced. He was one of many who was under Xemnas’ orders that Xehanort chose to be his vessel

As for a fight in the Keyblade graveyard. I would like to think that he should take Xigbar’s place to fight alongside Xiruk (aka Dark Riku), and Xigbar fighting alongside Saïx and Xemnas

He was only chosen because Saix needed people for his betrayal and he supposedly has some kind of keyblade legacy that Xehanort was never even able to explore.

Not because he’s powerful or a capable fighter or loyal

Speaking of Saïx, can we talk about this scene in Re:Mind? He kept saying both Axel and Roxas’ name to help Xion with her memories

Was he secretly betraying the Organization?

I think it was implied (iirc) by Even in 3 after saving Ansem he had help from Siax

I mean, I always think Marluxia and Larxene would be the ones who would betray them (not counting Xion)

I think that was one of the biggest signs Ansem SoD and Xemnas had become their own people.

KH3 is the most interesting Xemnas has ever been

Still, I always think Demyx is too perfect to be a part of the True Organization instead of Xion. I mean, I’d like to see him betray them like what Saïx, Marluxia and Larxene would do (not counting Vexen, because he was never chosen, he only became an Org just to find ATW). Xion to me is handled the same way as Aqua does

In KH2 he was just revealed as lying for his own agenda, and just was Xehanort 2. But KH3 has him actually feel genuine regret and sorrow

Demyx would have been an awful pick for an actual Org member to fight in KH3

Dude's a fun character yeah but like

I would rather an emotionally resonant character be there instead

And it all ends with Xemnas finally coming to the realization that having a heart doesn’t make you weak

Why I'm also kinda okay with it looking like Xaldin got replaced with Dark Riku during development
