Honestly, I've never beaten kh2 on crit. The only super boss i've beated is sephy and that's it.

For some reason, I just understand KH3 alot more

Lv 1 Crit on the other hand? Entirely different experience. It's like you're playing a completely different game, and I consider it the definitive way to play KH2.

Yeah. I basically had to reteach myself how to play KH2. I might do it again since I never actually finished my run.

Speaking as a strong, ever constant DDD defender, its critical mode is trash and everyone who took part in designing it should bathe in marmite

The only reason that I have it is that I've beaten DDD on crit with no commands.

so they’re actually pretty viable

Debatable that it even matters. You end up hitting the damage floor eventually anyway. If you're speedrunning then yeah, the medal. If not and you're newer and want a little more leeyway, early on the champion belt's defenses could come in handy early on.

See, I took the opposite approach. I like to prioritize defense. Being able to take even one extra hit in Critical can mean the difference between life and death.

Damage output? Not so much. Fights are going to drag on pretty much no matter what you do.

Ive just seen soo many runs where they grab the medal

I mean, ending the fight quickly with tons of strength is a valid strategy, but it's one that requires godlike skill to pull off
