So... Tiger head boss is annoying too

Agrabah has 4 bosses, but only one of them is good imo, and that's the first jafar boss

4 story bosses I should say

Kurt Zisa as well, and he's great

I wouldn't even call genie jafar a boss since you never actually have to hit him.

It's a gimmick boss

You can cast magic on him, but otherwise hit the lamp ez pz

Yeaaah Agrabah wasn't the best experience boss wise....it tends to range from underwhelming to mildly infuriating

Pot Centipede and his electrified stingers are just something im glad I don't have to deal with for long.

"KH2 definitely had more characters involved. Getting it a less lonely atmosphere.

I’d say the battle at Hollow Bastion in KH2 is good example of what I mean. "

THIS IS IT

This is the crux of what I try to articulate

I should go in *Spoilers* KH3 Chat for the rest of this

Cid says "The bell at the gizmo shop is ringing again" which implies it has rung before, perhaps even a regular occurrence. This adds some character to Traverse Town, gives it an alive feeling even. Like it rings its bell to try and alert someone into ringing it and sealing the keyhole. And with worlds having hearts, this makes sense.

Hmm, maybe he doesn't say "again"

But still, it's a thing they know about, and the fact there's this bell that mysteriously rings is a good bit of world building

This is such a deep insight oh

But I think I totally agree, also the fact that the bell changes the appearance of the world in some way

Could also be some heartless did it to lure Sora there and release the opposite armour on him

Ah yeah

Really helps to sell that it's something mythical

It makes it more like, this world exists and has depth outside of when Sora isn't there

He's just a visitor

That is exactly what I mean

Like, that is what I try to articulate when I say it feels "lived in"

Yeah

And Twilight Town, has the ghost train and mansiom

Things that the locals have stories about and are established things in the world

I think Twilight Town benefits a lot from the prologue

Yeah, all of that, otherwise Twilight Town suffers from the general lack of level design that plagues KH2, but I think kinda makes up for it by keeping the story interesting

TT is one of the better designed ones at least

Tram common has some verticality

As does the sunset side whatever its called

The 7 wonders area

Sunset station

Probably my favourite area tbh

Yeah it's my favourite of TT

Also, TT has different routes, the train, and the concourse. It's not quite to the degree of KH1 but its better than a lot of the gams

Ooh that's true, especially in late game when you can access the whole town

It does become a lot more interconnected

It's probably the least linear world in KH2

I miss the Underground Concourse so much and was looking forward to traversing them to get to Sunset Station again....

All those memes about Donald being a poor healer annoyedquack

He's doing great for me... Though ofc I did change his ai

I guess most people never thought to do so
