So I believe the Old Man Xehanort we see is technically a time traveling version of himself. I think. So he's like... a living memory, and memories can be portals in this universe, or gateways rather, so, it almost makes sense to me that with enough power you could turn a "living" memory into a portal like how in the UX world, we're seeing data constructs of future worlds.

That's why I think it's not out of the ballpark to say, like I said a few days ago in , Quadratum could toats be a dream that a data world dreamt up.

Escially cause, (going back to the living memory thing) why else would we go to Scala? That's probably the most important world/the world with the most important memories in Xehanorta heart.

inhaaaaales

Now sure we don't know if it's the "real" Scala or not (since Yensid wants Mickey to go there and all. But, either way, it stands to reason why we would go there.

Tl;dr cause Magic and shit.

I love Kingdom Hearts

nah man, i save "cause magic and shit" for gameplay elements like "how does sora spin around for all his attacks" and "how exactly does shooting fire from the keyblade work" (in this series, at least). with plot-relevant stuff, i've come to need more than that, given how much forethought nomura puts into these things

True true and that's valid

But if it isn't the 8 paragraphs it's the 1 sentence lol

That's just #KHTingz

My understanding is that since Xehanort has been abusing the laws of nature by time traveling so much it’s resulted in him basically becoming a living tear in the fabric of space-time. Sora was able to use this to his advantage to trap Xehanort in what was essentially a manifestation of his memories. Like Kairi was able to do with The Final World in Melody.

It might not be the real place, but real harm can be inflicted on the individuals present there.

In simplest terms, Xehanort firetrucked around so much he found out

There’s a good chance that the ReMind Secret Episode utilizes a similar phenomenon. The dreams or memories of Sora and Yozora being manifested into something tangible.

that word salad somehow makes sense when you put it that way...

(no offense, just trying to make light of my own situation)

I’m trying my best to make sense of it all man

same ephemerfrown

The pilot getting taken down.

Oh that- yeah big bummer

DaZ downloaded it tho- if you want it have him link it

For purposes.

No, it genuinely gives me comfort.

The boots for my Halloweentown Sora cosplay have finally arrived! Now, all I have to wait for is the costume and then that’s all complete! Mwahahaha! 🎃 😈 👻

Shall I animate a scene from the Kingdom Hearts pilot animatic on my traditional animation desk like it’s 2002?

They literally do to Xehanort what the Power of Waking does

Riku used the PoW on Sora to make a portal into his heart in 3D

Riku again does the same in Melody of Memory where he creates a portal because of Nameless Star into Quadratum

In JP Riku calls back to how in KH3D Xehanort describes himself as acting as a "portal" that allows his other selves to be there. Basically just referring to how Time Travel works

Which is why he uses the same language in KH3

KH3 has a bunch of small things that cause confusion thanks to localisation choices, the entire series does on the whole. If something seems weird or nonsensical, it's a good chance the English Script is at fault rather than the JP

Doesn't help that Nomura has a love of purposefully ambiguous Japanese in the first place either lol
