In the original version of KH2, they still wore their Halloween Town outfits in Christmas Town, so there was no change. The Christmas skins were added in the Final Mix version and they didn't add any dialogue to acknowledge it.

I guess they didn't want to bother with coding in new dialogue, even if it could've been a text only scene. They probably thought they didn't need it because in some worlds, besides the ones where they get drastic changes like lion form, they don't acknowledge their changed outfits.

speaking of which... as a mod, it would be cool if someone could somehow make pirate trio models for the KH2 world that look like the KH3 ones. I think that's a bit too complex though, esp considering the clothes have to consider drive forms.
