Of course Marly

Only the best for you :whenthedarknessisjustright:

But a lot of org 13's fight music, well kh2 music in general had that one instrument or sound that always played

I'm not sure if its a pipe but it feels like some kind of bag pipe sound.

Tension has the organs clearly heard

But a lot of org 13's fight music, well kh2 music in general had that one instrument or sound that always played

And I cant think of what kind of instrument it is trying to replicate.

Ok it was organs. Like synth organs yeah

that would also be because of the way the PS2 sound chip worked!

in comparison to the orchestral remixes

personally i find that Yoko does better with Synths and Soundchips rather than orchestral arrangements cause they have more oomph to them

you can make your lows much more impactful that way

The orchestral stuff isnt as good yeah. I'll be honest I'm not a fan of a lot of the remix soundtrack

I feel like the music's impact is lost in a lot of places

the annoying part about orchestral is that it can sound really good! outside of the game where you can focus the audio on the instruments

in game you have to dampen a few sounds so that it blends with the game audio and yeahhhh

Idm the kh2 remixes, whereas I felt kh1 some lost their oomph but that's probably just my attachment to them being greater than kh2's

The orchestral music sounds like... A little too grand for what I'm witnessing

Rowdy rumble xionsmug

I prefer all the orchestra tracks mostly

The only exception I have is KH1 Deep End

That track sounds awful in the remix

Very quieted down. Original is far louder and grander

Yeah I feel that

Hand in Hand is the big one for me

I don't like the horns in the new one at all

In comparison, it's still good as is

I just can't get w/ the remixed versions of the KH2 music.

Higher quality would've been one thing, but there was more of an instrumental change when the original versions already grew in my heart.

If you play KHUx, you could get tired of hearing "Hand in Hand" on repeat.

I guess people like the KH3 remixes more, but I don't want to reveal which tracks were revamped for KH3 here.

The world map music they use for it is a bit bothersome b/c of the high pitches.

Same for the second version of "Dearly Beloved."

The original "Dearly Beloved" for KHUx felt more upbeat.

Now, p much all of the additions for the WiR world corners have amazing energy that fits the scene so well and is surprisingly intense.

Cross your heart and hope to die?

*eye

It's a slant rhyme.

I feel like the 60 fps makes the characters mouth movements outside of cut scenes ruins any chances of them creating the illusion that they are using any kind of accurate mouth movements laughsinnomura

Aerith VA in Kh2 ughhhhhhh
