You're constantly making big reaches for Xehanort and Terra, yet in the same breath it takes you no time at all to dunk on Eraqus even though he's guilty of the same mistake as terra

If you're gonna give one characters writing the benefit of the doubt then I'd say you should apply it to Eraqus too

If anything, Eraqus has a much better and larger excuse for trusting Xehanort

As well as for distrusting darkness

The difference between the two is, Terra had no idea what was going on until Eraqus died in his arms. Eraqus on the other hand was flat out told what Xehanort was going to do right out of the guys mouth and then even attacked him and left scars on his face. And that's not me saying Eraqus is a bad character, just a guy who had no reason to trust him again to suddenly doing it out of nowhere.
