Yeah I never bothered with that before so I wasn't conscious of it

Yeah it's a bit of a nuisance I did the play on 3 and these missions were the worst part after the synthesis grind

Hey KH1 has pretty consistent themes of heart and friendship. Each world either explores the idea of what a heart actual is, the strength of the heart and Soras search for his friends and what they mean to him. I also like how each Disney film that is presented in the game is tied into the main plot really well. It's not simply a retelling of the movie. Course I'm glad KH2 fixed a lot of the gameplay. Fighting enemies in higher areas is a pain in Monstro and Halloween Town. Items they drop fall down to the next level, physical combat is too risky and dear God if you don't have a keyblade long enough enemies will either constantly keep out of range or punish you because they were just outside your range.

Also it fixed camera issues, there times when a boss fight would start with the camera facing you and your get shot by Clayton off screen or something.

I don’t have any memory of seeing any KH game trailer back in the days... sadly. Probably because I wasn’t into KH so I didn’t pay attention.

Every time you try and get behind her you just end up being pushed by some invisible wall into her crown.

And you only have the weakest stop when facing her usually so she doesn't freeze too long.

It's a clunky fight for sure

Back when I was a kid I just let Donald and Goofy do the fighting for me

Stop's duration depends on max MP

The upgrades only increase its range

Oh yeah Well, same problem. 8 MP wasn't even enough to stop her for more than one combo

And that's about as much as you get when you go after her normally.

She's a boss, she won't freeze for very long no matter how much MP you have

You just gotta swim back and forth constantly with her tbh

Pretty sure there's a threshold

Avoiding that trident move haha, it's a slow fight

But yeah, awful fight

Ah they really should've increased because it's a high mp cost to use stop and she just doesn't stop spamming lightning and moving.
