exactly

And see the mom, and have the confirmation she's MoM

?

@Beck Sora tries getting Kairis attention by throwing paper and her and does his funny faces. I imagine Kairi would scold him and tell him to pay attention lol

i'd cry thats so cute

Then Sora would make a cute face back at Kairi and Kairi would blush suaondodnd

Or Kairi would turn around once more to make a silly face after scolding him

> So basically a KH made by the Persona team
@Epheymer I would buy that

> idk why but even though the worlds were big, they just felt kinda...empty. sanfrokyo esp felt so lifeless, like it was just for mob fights
@Beck I never got that with the others, but I see where you're coming from with San Fransokyo. I think the issue with that world is it was designed around flight and is just too much of a chore to traverse without flying.

Yeah that was my first impression but I had just finished rdr2 lol so maybe my expectations were a bit skewed

Yeah juuuuuust a pinch when you compare a linear JRPG to an open-world RPG.

Thing is, when you look at how much KH3 tries to keep fun combat as the priority vs KH1 which focused on the world's more like a traditional RPG, you can see kinda why the world's feel that way

KH3 at least brought NPCs and some world interactivity back but if you look at the flat lands of KH2

Well lol

Hopefully in the future they can mix the two in a good way since they have a good base
Worlds like KH1 with detail and fun things to do and explore
While keeping that combat that KH2FM/KH3RM fans adore oh so much

But that's asking a lot haha

tbh I'm okay with the strict focus on combat. It's what KH does best, so why shouldn't it be the focus?

Personally speaking, one of the things that drew me into KH was actually the unique worlds to run around in and seeing all the cool details in them

As for a whole, there are complaints of the worlds feeling empty and bland which, at least in the land of KH2, had to be the case to make up for the new combat style

Sooo if you want a combat focused JRPG, you're gonna lose out on details in the world because no one is gonna stop to look at them anyway

If you wanna make a pretty world(s) ya gotta put time and effort into making them fun to explore and learn
I.e stuff outside of combat

"but Goldy, if they had time and people they could do both"
They could, and can
But then we wouldn't get KH games as fast as people want

Ya get what I'm saying?

In short, KH3RM is the exact mix of KH1 and KH2
Doing its best to cater to as many types of RPG fans as it can

Personally, I've always felt that DDD was a solid balance of world building and combat

@GoldenDrummer730#4323 More often than not, this leads to a mediocre game that doesn't really excel in anything. So, if a KH game has to focus on any one thing in particular, I'd prefer it to focus on what it's good at. If I want world-building and exploration, I can find it in other games. I cannot find a game that excels in combat quite as much as KH.

But I think KH3RM does it the best

Don’t RPG fans like a good story?

They do but that's not the topic here

And yeah Sam, that might work for YOU

But yet here people are with their complaints haha

It's the same mentality when you tell people to play other TRPGs since FF isn't going that way anymore

And those are valid complaints, but at some point, you have to understand what you're getting into. It's like complaining that you can't buy shoes at a pizza parlor.

Why are you going to a pizza parlor for shoes?

Exactly my point

Ohhhhh I get it now

I had to process it for a bit
