I'm gonna be entirely honest, I have never played or watched all of Final Fantasy 7 in its entirety

so this will be new for me

I have only ever seen like the last boss and thats about it

Same here, Arthur.

Like I know most of the characters, but only really through hearsay

I'm thinking of playing FF7 before the remake releases, but I'm lazy.

I personally am going to do the opposite

play the remake then play the original

though honestly I dont know how that will work yet since this is only part 1

and there are 2 other parts

I don't understand why you plan on doing that though.

So I can see the story in fresh eyes then go back for the old story in fresh eyes

I suppose that makes sense.

Like if I want to see these characters interact, I kinda want to see how they do it in the new game and then see how they did it in the old game

You want to do it the reverse engineering way.

I honestly might just play through the rest of the original just to see what happens

Yeah, I can see that.

Gonna be honest ff7 vanilla didnt age well. It has a lot of questionable design decision and the character models were even during its release very outdated

Nah, at that rate I'd recommend you just play the original

like I'll play FF7 remake then whenever the part 1 ends, I'll go play the entirety of the original

I dont know if you will have the stamina to play vanilla after 7r xD

Idk its not the longest rpg ever

30-40 hours

I've played rpgs back to back

so its no big deal

I would recommend to not play the steam version btw

is the ps4 version the Steam version ported onto the Ps4?
