There was a tiny bit of censoring though, Nomura mentioned that a department at Square Enix determines what's suitable and what's not suitable for the games, and they had requirements for Tifa.

Doesn't mean it was wrong, nor was it "a sjw conspiracy" (lmao at people who think that), but it happened.

Although since i watch JoJo (where the main protagonist looks like a body builder even though hes a teenager) so i guess it is an artistic style choice

they want the game to reach the broadest audience ever so the ethic department counsels them about what different countries will most likely accept for ratings and shit
