So a fair warning, looks like a recent leak of Rise of Skywalker looks pretty accurate based of the trailer. So if you don't want to know what supposedly happens then don't read it. Fair chance most of it is pretty legit.

Dark Rey is just misdirection anyway

They will never make their perfect female hero representative fall to darkness.

So it's almost a reverse spoiler because it's essentially showing us something that is not going to happen for real, so we're back to ground zero in trying to figure it out.

Shame too. Rey going dark is one of the few things that could salvage her bland character
