The Shorts are an in house project for the Disney Channel stuff. Meanwhile we still need the iconic voice style so they are separate

Honestly I'd kill for a new Mickey Mouse and Gang movie or show that's not oriented for toddlers. The shorts are great because they capture the classic family design

Btw if you've never seen any of the new shorts, my personal favorite is Potato Land and I recommend watching that one. I think KH Mickey definitely needs the classic voice more than the one Chris provides, but I love it.

I am not sure how chris would handle the more "serious" tone of the KH story as mickey though

it was either that or this, they werent sure, but disney scrapped both

they thought it made mickey go against their "vision for his character"

which I can kinda agree on, but then again seeing an evil mickey mouse would've been very cool

So I have been wondering this for a while, have they found someone to take the role of minnie since her voice actress passed away

Russi taylor (voice of minnie) was actaully in Kingdom Hearts 3 as Huey duey and louie

so she did get into the game despite not playing minnie

since minnie had no lines
