I have a feeling Yozora will probably be a protagonist, just not one that outright replaces Sora.

 

 

I could see Yozora being the main character of his own game while being tangentially related to Sora.

 

I agree somewhat on the terra sequence, but sora didn't need to be there, it would still be fine in the base game
