get world battle for it?

Uhh I think Enchanted Dominion might not have a boss

The new worlds dont get world battles

Only Agrabah, Wonderland, and

Scala ad Caelum

well technically there is a world battle with the

magic mirror

 

that kinda counts

just because a world battle for World A includes an enemy from World B doesn't mean it is a world battle for World B

thats like saying Twilight Town is a world battle in Dark Road because there are Shadows in Agrabah 1 lmfao

As I continue to process the ending of Dark Road, this scene from BBS came to mind

 

Maybe Riku was meant to be the Child of Destiny, but the role fell to Sora when Riku was taken by darkness?

 

 

that's one theory- I subscribe to it too. the other theory going about is that they both are. Riku is the, to simplify, "better Xehanort", and Sora is the "better Eraqus". Sort of kind of.

 

 

interestingly tho, Riku combining light and Darkness has been part of his shitck since Chain of Memories. Sora hasn't really dabbled in darkness yet/at all. I know we could argue he got some darkness when Roxas becomes one with him in II, and Anti-Form, but, Anti-Form is never acknowledged in story. Xehnaort makes Sora go Rage Mode in III, but, that's the only time that really happens- he hasn't had any darkness within himself to conquer. Yet.

 

 

I think IV will deal with that, or maybe Sora will be pure light, we'll see

 

 

I’ve seen it argued that it was always Sora as he was able to connect and meld with Ventus’ heart at birth which would certainly fit the bill. I still think Riku plays a part. There’s no way Nomura has built him up throughout the series as much as he has for Riku to become irrelevant.

 

 

People keep pointing to this line, but honestly I think it applies better to Sora and Riku than Sora and Ventus. Their Combined Keyblade from DDD that they could use even while apart was proof they have a connection between their hearts that goes deeper than perhaps we even know.

 

 

The Combo Keyblade even has a Paopu Fruit as its’ keychain which is symbolic of two destinies being intertwined
