he is a great writer and event director

A2 is worse than A1 imo

@wasabi_curry just because you feel Nomura is a good writer, and director, it doesn't mean others feel that way

it looks better but its gameplay to me is worse

and the story does not compare

He does have a hatedom which is uncalled for tho

Like event director plans out scenarios

and he was supposed to be doing that for ff versus 13 originally

I dont feel that way it's the idea that hes a bad director I'm questionning

I'm indifferent cuz like it or not imma purchase his games

His story direction is very questionable but I always think well it's a disney game

i think nomura is a very talented individual

i feel like his has great ideas

hes extremely creative

It's the notion that everything he touches is bad that I want to question

its the execution of those ideas that requires support from other i think

People feel he's a bad director because certain works of his are pretty wonky. Advent children is just bad really. It's pretty and I love it, but it is bad, and Versus was an unmitigated failure. Now there's FF7R and some people are immensely disappointed by the ending which is enough to tar a whole game for them

In terms of final fantasy, Nomura's had Advent Children, versus and now FF7R as director. He was also in a high position and had a lot of influence over FF8 which SO MANY people hated

endings are important but if there was enough there to stand on its own
