Glad to see you enjoyed it! Who did you get in chapter 14 when going outside the house at night with Cloud?

Personally, I'm very even on it. To me, it depends on what future games will do. Right now I'm not especially hopeful or worried, just cautious

He needs to get some fashion sense with those pants

Shhhh

Nomura just missed his belt fetish

He had to bring it back

it looks like something that edgy kids would wear in 2007 not gonna lie xD

But I think that’s Nomura’s general aesthetic. 2007 MySpace Emo

Cant wait for when he reaches 100 and becomes some kind of belt guru. Where he just wears an entire shawl of belts

Kinda like Lulu in FFX

Rufus i always felt was a underutilized character he's so cool but he's never used to this whole potential in any of the stories

In this part he felt like he kinda came out of nowhere. I don't think he was mentioned by anyone prior but I could've missed that

Yeah, that's my only issue with it

like in OG, he's expanded on later

It's an unfortunate side-effect of being the end game in the remake

I wish he was set up somewhat

Didn't need to be something big

When he shows up in the original this is still like the first few hours of the game

Just an off comment that Shinra has a son was all that needed

They did give him a lot better just this here though even though it was still the beginning of the game in the original his boss fight still felt underwhelming and they really made it a nice good part in the remake

I didn't even remember him from when I played the og at all so they did something right in this

He was always one of my favorite character is he just felt like he was underutilized super heavily

He appears quite often in the og. Well occasionally but often enough

Though to say he has great presence is

Well I wouldn't be saying a lot of truth. Cause a lot of big events happen most times he shows up and the focus is kind of taken away from him. Like I forgot about how much he shows up a lot xD when I replayed ff7

I guess the remake looks like they'll try to bring his character more to the forefront. In any case he has a very different kind of smug presence now.

In the original he was a very over the top villain like the shinra heads. Hell he announces in the first cutscene with him that he wants to control the world with fear and doesnt give a crap about the people of midgar.

Also I don't know if they're going to keep it for the Remake they probably will but he's in charge of

avalanche

Oh they definitely will

Considering it's a big orginisation in the remake

I get this feeling Roche is going to be a actual good guy his timing is way too convenient with the other Avalanche members in chapter 4

He also doesnt really want to do anything in his power to bring down Cloud or the others

The encounters are more of a fun game or sparring session to him

he seems to be doing stuff out of his own chaotic volition xD not really taking sides so far. But like. I kinda hope he ends up being on our side eventually.

also I lov him :tu_loveochaco:
