They didn't, Nomura hinted after Remind that the next game is "closer than you think" and that the remind title screen gives a clue (Kairi). Clearly, both these hints meant Melody of Memory

But having a full arpg with kairi as the protag would be more favorable. It would be scummy if MoM was the only game where she was getting fleshed out.

Im probably gonna wait until a sale or wait until the price drops to get this game
