Is there any advantage to any particular team, or just the one with the highest level? Once you have access to all four there's really no strategy beyond level and personal preference.

I think this is gonna be great for Kairi's character... there's actual hope for her, now. If she's gonna save Sora, she wants to do it right...she knows she's not ready.
