Ok Imma put a small content warning of that wizard game but

The devs of the game are in on the boycott and discouraging people from buying it… people who put their work into this game are talking you “please don’t get it”

This is firetrucking funny to me cause “but I wanna support the devs” is the main argument I hear from people buying the game. And the devs are saying that they shouldn’t do that immediately disarming said argument

...but why

this doesn't seem to add up

Multiple reasons rhat I will not get into cause idk if political chatter is allowed here

Mostly cause the game is supporting transphobia and antisemitism tho

no no, i get why the boycott, but why the devs? they were the ones who were directly involved with it all, and now they're saying "oh no, we made a mistake"? it doesn't make sense

I mean… they worked at it cause they had no choice

It was either work on the game or be homeless

One of the devs said that they immediately left the game after they secured another job

So she was actively looking for another job to stop working on the game

but why only say this now? it's not like there's some kind of nda that kept them from saying anything about it, one would think. like i said, this whole situation just seems weird

Cuase then they could get fired

And an anonymous post is less trustworthy then one who you can confirm worked at it by looking at the credits
