I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

so, with the game awards coming up, i figured we could do some speculation. what's a nintendo game that hasn't gotten dlc/is unlikely to get dlc that you'd like to see revealed?

my choices are kirby and the forgotten land or metroid dread

New IP pls

I have little if any interest in Nintendo dlc

sam, just go with the question being asked, please

we can switch to something else later if you like

Well...I guess Kirby is the game I'd tolerate dlc for the most

Ultimate has done its job. Any additional characters at this point, and I think the game would just be overstaying its welcome.

Lest it become a zombie of a game like Melee before it

true enough. do you think the ip should end here too, or do you think it'll get a new entry sometime in the future?

Honestly...I'd much rather see a new IP. Any new entry is undoubtedly going to have a smaller roster, and I think that would feel like an inherent downgrade. At least to me.

uItimate feeIs as though it has done everything it can do

there's just too much ground it's covered

even if a series didn't get a character it stiII got some kinda representation

The only thing missing is a halfway decent single-player mode, and I don't think that's enough to warrant an entire new entry.

at this point maybe changing Smash to something Iike an entireIy different genre wouId be the next thing

cuz hey having these charcaters interact with each other properIy wouId be pretty sick and'd justify a smaIIer roster

though to what genre idk, turn-based rpg might be way too different

I mean, I'd be in full support of a turn-based Smash...but probably only me lmao

see, i've given the next entry at least a small amount of consideration, and i had an idea: use the next one to basically revitalize the franchise. like, when nickelodeon's smash clone got a sequel, they ended up changing the overall system by adding some mechanics and tightening other things, but they also updated returning characters to the point that they actually felt different from the previous game (and usually in a good way)

i think smash bros has the potential to do something similar. lord knows characters like mario, link, and samus all have new things that could be incorporated into their kits now

Honestly, I would have zero complaints if Nintendo just kept porting Ultimate indefinitely.

They would have too, doing a Ultimate 2.0 would be disappointing and boring.

yeahhh

yeahhh
just uItimate but with more HD textures idk

game aIready Iooks great too so 🤷‍♂️

yes make me pay 60 every time

for the same game

unless they fix online with actual servers and give af about the community nintendo will just throw out the same game every time

see: mario kart 8

......oh hey yeah they wouId do that huh

even for aII the DLC characters at the end of the day this is a 2018 game

Drew Goddard a top contender for 'SPIDER-MAN 4' if Jon Watts decide to not come back.
