just finished the penguin

that show

was so freaking good, it is by far the most shocking and evil depiction of the penguin like EVER, the way he worms his way through every relationship he ever has and pretty much is content with killing anyone who is seen as dead weight makes him so intimidating. Sofia was amazing in this show and poor Vic going through all of this just because he happened to be there when Oswald needed a hand. 10/10 show

Everytime Penguin is on screen in The Batman 2 it should just be showing us Batman beating his ass

I haven't watched the show but does it hit on any backstory on how his family has been the rivals of the Wayne families for generations like in the comics and the cartoon shows? Inb4 nope

And don't plan on watching it not really a fan of the matt reeves batman universe

in every way i think if you want to do a show about a VILLAIN this is how you should do it

I thought so. They had a chance to make it great in terms of interpretation for a good connection. Gotham didn't do this either.

also in the episode when

Sofia kills the other falcones in a gas leak was such a real and simple way to kill someone its actually more unsettling that way

 

I'd say this stories penguin is so radically different from other versions of penguin that the connection to the waynes isnt necessary

i feel like they were more focused on the mafia family connections to the waynes that the movie had established that introducing yet another family would've taken away from the narrative they wanted to tell

the cobblepots being a disgraced crime family in this story definitley wouldve been a "too many eggs in one basket" scenario
