khqueen what are you hoping for from OoT? a full on brand new engine remake/reimagining, or something more along the lines of OoT3D with another fresh coat of paint on the same structural bones?

What would a reimagining even be

Breath of the wild style?

Tbh I would be really down for a brand new design/remake! I'm not really fond of the idea of them just slathering new paint and small details

For example, I want a more creepy/scary atmosphere for Shadow Temple. Like, the monster design needs to be more detailed and scarier

And keep the bloodstains on the floors and walls

I can't wait for OoT speedrunners like zfg to play the game for the first time and seeing their speedrunner OCD kicking in by trying some of the glitches every time they get the possibility

BUT ACTUALLY in terms of reimagining, one of the ideas would be wanting them to show Link's mom bringing him to the Deku Tree

There doesn't need to be a face

Or they could show her face idc

Like her running away from the war and then running through the Lost Woods

dark new twist in the remake. She actually brought him there because she left with another man and didn't want to bother with him

not necessarily, just a full on new art style that fits the themes of OoT and such, maybe reimagining the dungeons in a new format but still keeping the older 8 dungeon idea

I'm still very curious what direction they're taking with this
