Some firetruckery is going on here. While the main story of the game isnt going to be changed. I see a Secret Ending happening that does change it to fit with the Remake.

The answer is most likely simple, Zack isn't alive

If anything, all the recent interviews are saying he is dead because they are saying the story is still going to be the same as OG
