Theres a mix of groups that use it and dont. As long as you have a good damage dealing weapon for bosses youll be just fine without it.

I barely notice a difference with my god roll Stormchaser when someone isnt even using Divinity anyway.

Say whatever you want about Illumination and Minions as a whole... but the movies put out are pretty enjoyable. That's all that really matters at the end of it as far as I'm concerned. Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed Rise of Gru.
