genuineIy no idea what they gained from that
l guess they said "hey new ips it makes sense" but Iike

deathIoop seems Iike such an xbox game Imao
especiaIIy with that boxart

ghostwire l can kind of understand but not deathIoop

Everybody loves that PS timed-exclusivity money

Xbox’s other crippling problem is they have absolutely no foothold in Japan

ooooooooooooooooooo

yeah absoIuteIy

xbox might as weII not even exist in japan

in japan it's majority nintendo foIIowed by pIaystation, and then probabIy pc

The Series S has sold surprisingly well in Japan, but has Xbox capitalized on that uptick in demand? Absolutely not.

=)

it's funny, they couId've made a significant spIash in japan if they

you know

made any games

Or bought somebody who made games

Could’ve used that AB money to buy Japan-based publishers/studios

what?? that's crazy!!!!

l'd rather they make the 9th gears of war game but caII it G.of.War

get it

GoW

that'II show sony

And you know what? Maybe that would actually make me consider giving money to the scum of the earth for once!

weII Iucky us it'II never happen 😌

aII xbox has at the moment that has be jeaIous is the fact they can run Iots of 360 games at 4k and in some cases, 60fps
Iike sonic generations and unIeashed ugh dammit l need that

which are both over a decade old

PlayStation and Nintendo aren’t even trying to compete with Xbox on the backwards compatibility front. So many classic games from both companies and they do the bare minimum to make them accessible.

They don’t see a market for it. So far, it’s been a very vocal minority that actually wants this.

I mean, convince gamers that classic games are worth playing and there you go. Problem solved.

ughhh but that'd require efforrtttttt

the onIy peopIe l've seen wanting to pIay cIassic games are peopIe that've pIayed them before
it's kinda depressing

To be fair, that and mods are the only reasons for me as well. It’s just hard to find the time when new games come out at a blistering rate.

Well I know one of the regular arguments is just “if you want to play old games just buy the original hardware!” but, like, you mean the stuff that’s getting harder and harder to find every year?

Playstation in particular is the sole reason why I emulate

If they don't respect gaming history, I'll find my way to do that

obviousIy bro it's as easy as one two three

Once again, they don’t see any profit to be made from emulation

one: pay a IittIe for the system
two: try your damndest to not pay $80 for a cIassic game Iike crash 1
three: cry when you can't find a proper controIIer
four: remember how terribIe it'II Iook on your LED TV
five: give up

I tried hooking up a PS2 to a more current TV and I got a migraine just from trying to play something for a little bit.
