I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

might have said it here or in a different server, but this is basically how it was with the original, too. does everyone know that the movie made beaucoup bucks? sure, it was in the nes and everything. does most everyone know the plot? again, sure, it's talked about enough and it's lowkey just a ripoff of dances with wolves/pocahantas. but ask anyone if it's their favorite movie? you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who could say "yes" truthfully

Seeing it in 3d is a necessary experience. Imax or not.

What do you guys think about let's play and all that stuff on youtube and twitch ?

I think they shouldn't allowed it.

People upload all the content of the game and it kinds ruins the point of a video game.

It's for convenience and entertainment.

Some people don't have the money to get a video game so they can watch someone else play it and get a similar experience

Plus that's a huge market for both twitch and youtube that they would be crazy to let go

But still. I think they should make some rules.

Why?

It's not harming anyone

That, and they might not want to commit to getting the game themselves, so they watch someone else play it to see if it was worth skipping out on.

It's kinda a sticky situation

I can understand both points

or they get more money from people buying their game that they saw someone else play and thought it looked fun

If a game is good and/or marketed well enough, the devs will make back all their money and then some.

yep, content creator are just free advertisement

Plus it allows for people to literally play games for a living which is cool

A lot of companies actually give LPers advance copies of their games just to play them a bit for their audiences before they release them fully to the public.

That's why Dark Souls III had gameplay going up before they actually released the game.

Yep content creators get to show off a cool game early, buisnesses get free advertisement, win win

Obviously if a game was leaked and someone is playing it before it should be shown off is a different thing in general

But they always have a way of making sure the whole game isn't put up by allowing them to play only up to a certain point, too.

For example, for Dark Souls III, you couldn't play past Abyss Watchers if given an advance copy for your channel.

For Persona 5, everything after Yusuke's Awakening was embargoed.

That one actually lasted for many months after the game was released.
