i don't like it either, but i have a guess as to why they're doing it. they don't want the file size of the game to be too big, what with all the content and battle pass stuff they're planning to add, so they make it internet-reliant instead

I personally am pretty happy with all the new changes coming in the next expansion, the game has started to feel pretty similar the past couple of years, good stuff, but nothing like super special, so I'm super excited for the next year. AS for the current state of the game, power creep has kinda taken over where a lot of stuff is a lot easier than it used to be, which hopefully will be reigned in with Lightfall

pvp is definitely more Hunt's expertise

pvp just feels completely neglected compared to every other state in the game. sure they are trying but its the bare minimum
like they added comp without actually trying to make it worthwhile, and gambit? I feel bungie hates that mode more than anyone else since all theyve done with it is just remove more than add
and this season they even tried to remove modes which backfired horribly

and it used to but switched to pve because of how bad it got felt better ever sense

when they tried to remove rumble that was the final straw for me on the state of pvp

also only getting 3 maps throughout Year 6 is just not ok

Im not a fan of also forcing players to play Iron Banner whenever that rolls around either

ok to clarify, they took the free-for-all mode that used to be avaliable 24/7 and tried to put it in a rotating weekly playlist, not just remove it from the game entirely, but yeah still pretty dumb
