As much as that hurts to hear, there’s still other games to fill the niche of modern turn based combat. Most notably Persona and Yakuza. And arguably Fire Emblem.

Nah they’ve tried action already with Strikers. And most people don’t like it.

if atIus can actuaIIy handIe such a foreign concept of "open arenas"

dodge roIIs
unique character pIaystyIes

strikers is just a dynasty warriors game though, just with a persona skin
it's quite nice as a combination of the two

I honestly liked p5s combat more than p5r 💀

p5r combat was insanely bloated with the confidant mechanics.

auto dispel, auto heal, auto buffs, 1 hit kill protection is ridiculous

why even play the game at this point when you remove every aspect that requires strategy

P5R is unbeIievabIy easy

I didn't even realize this until I played SMT V
