7 shipping wars are worse because it's only a few characters. XIV doesn't have that much of an issue with the ships because it's too many ships which makes it overall less concentrated

yes regarding certain characters that appear in shadowbringers and endwalker

there's also a big discussion if a certain gay ship is canon because the game doesn't explicitly show the characters being a couple but it's heavily implied

It's not really that crazy but it's more character obsession

the obsessions is crazy. there's a person with multiple burner accounts on twitter who constantly shits on the game because the game didn't follow their expectation of a certain character
