I would say this one is even worse than Rockstar as this has personal details of developers. Their emails, personal documentation, their passes.

firetruck even SQUARE ENIX is realizing we don't need to have trailers for something 9 years out.

Square is getting better at it

Now its 3 ish years instead of 5+

showing early in development things can be an advantage in terms of player feedback. like SE bringing back situation commands in KH4, but god KH3 was announced way too early 💀 I hope KH4 marketing starts after rebirth

and release in early 20025

and even then, they usually do an announcement trailer or reveal and then only ramp up marketing in the last stretch now which is great imo

instead of egging us along for years with trailers that end up outdated and not looking like the game at all
