I mean the fundamental part of the game is amazing and many people are willing to see past the numerus bugs and glitches within the game

minus the super random and game breaking bugs, it's not the worst game

it's just very clear that regardless of which version you play, the game simply just isn't done

and good luck playing on a last gen console

Yeah last gen is a disaster

Even on PS5 the game can be broken, it just clearly wasn't ready for consoles. They should've waited until the patch for the PS5 upgrade at least.

Honestly they should have either delayed the console versions or just cut the last gen versions all together

which the mention of that is so wild given that the game was announced before PS4/Xbox One and it came out right after PS5/Series X
like what even happened over there hahaha

and then they threw PC into the mix

must have been a nightmare to be on that dev team

Oh yeah and they are pissed cuz honestly, it's the leadership that's to blame, the developers are just the people who are working on the game

they admitted that they never focused on the console versions cause they didnt give a firetruck bout them and only focused on the pc version. which pissed off their investors and they are gonna get sued apparently

Because they didn't show footage of the base xbox one and PS4

they didn't show footage of the game running on a 50$ pc either

and sony and ms only show latest version of their console since they released their pro version it's nothing new

Yeah something that's more mid-budget would have been nice but that one makes sense since they want to show off the prettiest version of their game

Imo the lawsuit should be at the extreme lack of quality control put onto the game when there were two major delays and the game went Gold

When you say you go Gold, you mean that the current version is complete and could be sold if they do wanted, the time after is spent making polishing changes and such

Soo to have this and more or less lie to a huge majority of consumers isn't exactly a good thing so the stakeholders and people who invested into CDPR for this game are gonna want their money back cause they got jipped from what they were told

Like yeah the base gameplay may be good, but to have it be taken off the PS store and the extreme negative reception to the glitches and bugs is where the crux of the lawsuit is gonna lie along with what I said above

It really boils down to what happened over a 7 year development time
Which is very very generous given that had only one game to work on

The main crux of the lawsuit is the missleading advertisement of the game before launch.

Every thing that you said is valid but that's probably where lawyers are going to approach

Yeah I mean it’s quite baffling to me, like I seriously can’t imagine just what causes you to lose your direction so heavily when going into something like this, not knowing exactly what you want it to be and precisely how you want it to turn out from the get go is understandable and probably the case for pretty much anything, but it feels like they put everything but the actual game itself first.

From what I can tell at least, care clearly went into the story, the concept, the world, the tone and atmosphere and all that, but it seems like they lost sight of the fact that they’re making a game that has to work properly on the main consoles that they were aiming to release it for, and it’s quite sad to see honestly
