Remake seems to have a different continuity, though.

It's tricky because both VC and DoC take place in times before and after VII that's more than a few months

its not necessarily combining them, just telling an alternate reality where these things were somewhat similar in continuity, not exact

which is why we're getting ever crisis combining the original continuity together

But at the same time it's not like Ever Crisis is needed

DoC is about three years after the OG.

yeah its streamlining things, but its not the same exact story as in not replacing the original continuity

And Yuffie's DLC as well as Intergrade is concurrent w/ FFVIIR.

acc was set 2 years after og and doc is a year after acc

So AC is before DoC then.
