The state of pokemon tcg is firetrucking sad

just a tldr:
The new set that gets released on friday gets already GIGAscalped

The set has super low drop rates on the best cards

Due to the rarity scalpers scalp even more

Scalpers are why we can't have nice things

Packs are already getting opened even though official release is on friday

another issue is that Pokemon TCG has currently the biggest boom ever and all the new players basically have no access to new cards due to scalpers

due to the massive demand the price on boosters has increased too

they want $10 for one pack

and $20-30 for the new packs

which means 5 boosters cost $100

it has gotten so bad that youtubers start to make videos that tcg might die if people don't stop with scalping and the pack opening bullshit

this is so firetrucking disgusting
