there's an infamous moment where a hyped up scene late in super had its music replaced with a dubbed version and it just... it's awful comparatively

Even with subs the jp ver doenst make me feel anything

i'm the opposite: i like not knowing what's being said when it comes to these (at least, in my native language). i like dubs just fine, but music is different in that sense

I like knowing what's being said subs or not but vocal performance is a huge thing with me, and sometimes the covers don't 'sound' as good as the JP ones- don't have that passion

Case in point, the DBS moment we mentioned lol

the voice is just not a good match for a cover of this song man

fun fact: i found this just by starting to type "goku and frieza" and it finished with "vs jiren with the music it needed"
