Unrelated to the idea of a spider-punk film, but along the same lines: I don't think we need dedicated shows/movies for some characters. I think they're fine appearing as they do

Like Mr. Terrific from the new superman movie. Did I like him? Yes, very much. Do I think he should have his own show/movie? No. Do I think he should come back for future movies/shows focused on other characters? Yes

I agree on something like spider-punk

Terrific should get a project of his own though, he's that good

I just felt like his portrayal here wasn't compelling enough for a starring role. Again, while he was great for the movie, I feel like I'd need to see more in the way of characterization before wanting to see him elsewhere

Like, this wasn't his movie, so the focus wasn't on him/his character and I get that and think that's fine. If they make a superman 2 in a few years and bring him back but give him a bit more this time around, that'd probably be when I'd wanna see his standalone show/film

Well yeah, he was just a side character in the movie which starred someone else so he couldn't (and shouldn't) have gotten more than what he did

But he has lots of great stuff in the comics, even has a whole team for himself and a current run going on for a while now

He absolutely can carry a movie or show for himself

I understand all that, but his movie version isn't gonna be the same as his comics version so I need to see what more they can do with him there first. There's already been too many of these dedicated shows/films where the character in question (or their portrayal) has led to a less-than-stellar outcome, and I'm tired of being burned like that

We got 3 thor movies and 2 avengers movies to get a feel for loki before he got his show, and that paid off.
We got 1 Hawkeye show to get a feel for Maya before she got her Echo show, and that didn't pay off imo

Peacemaker doesn't have much of an appearance but he had one movie and got a show that was still a hit

I get where you are coming from here, I want good stuff to watch too and having so many characters getting their own stuff and not being good kinda sucks

But that all just comes down to it being a writing issue and how you develop the characters and the story, not about how many times a character appears in something to justify them getting adapted on their own

they finally have minigames in the msq

instead of just constantly talking to npcs

You gotta explain what you mean here

ffxiv has now puzzles and minigames in the msq

for gameplay

for example there's a puzzle where you have to connect platforms with each other

and there's another one where you have to find a code

it's very resident evil coded

there's also a datamined push animation for the WoL apparently

which means we will get puzzles where you have to push things too in the future

they updated the engine with this patch. viera and hrothgar can also wear 99% of all hats now. They did sth with the character models that makes it easier to animate

Hopefully that lessons the amount of NPCs you have to run around for and not just added on top of that
